Power Runs
Dyno Demon can offer you power runs on our Dyno Dynamics dynamometer to give you a full overview of how your engine and transmission are performing. We monitor POWER and TORQUE at the wheels and the fly, MANIFOLD PRESSURE and VACUUM for forced induction vehicles, INTAKE TEMPERATURE and of course the all important AIR FUEL RATIO (AFR) using our state of the art wide band O2 sensor. All the data is logged during the power run, so we can provide you with personalised stat sheets.
How is it done
First of all we check oil levels and tyre pressures and give the vehicle a once over. The vehicle is then strapped down and wired up to all the various sensors for data logging. Bringing the vehicle up to normal operating temperature, we then switch on our 30,000cfm cooling fan. After three consecutive runs we produce a graph showing road power and torque along with flywheel power and torque. A second graph is also produced to show AFR and Boost. The findings will be explained to you, with one-on-one advice about the results.
